From its (current) inception to the present (29.May.07), 35 players have "made it to the 'show'" after playing in the Northern League. Several such as Jeff Zimmerman, Rey Ordoñez, and Kevin Millar have had much more than just "a cup of coffee." The latest to be called are Nathan Haynes, outfielder for the Gary Southshore RailCats (California Angels, May 28, 2007), Eliezer Alfonzo, former catcher for the Saints (called up to the San Francisco Giants, June 3, 2006) and Chris Coste , a local catcher from Fargo, who on May 21, 2006 was called up to the Phillies.
